Denise is pleased to announce that roll up's are now available again on Monday and Friday afternoons and the Friendship Cup is being played on Wednesday afternoons in the Winter Season. All games now start at 1.00pm. From 3rd May 2023 the Wednesday Summer Cup games will start at 9.30am replacing the Friendship Cup games for the Lawn Bowling Season.
We have two teams playing in the SEESMBA 22/23 leagues.
Activity is virtually back to normal albeit with the new norm of having windows open for good ventilation (so wear warm clothing), sanitising the hall and equipment, wrapped biscuits and personal preference on shaking hands.
For the safety of all members we recommend that if members have any symptoms please do not come to the Club.
Competitions and friendly games are again being arranged.
Ladies vs Gents competition 2nd April 2022
The teams are pictured below.
The Gents as winners are displaying the cup however the Ladies put up a good show and there were only 12 in their team playing against 14 gents.
A good day was had by all with 2 games in the morning, a Fish & Chip lunch and 2 games in the afternoon.
All played in good spirits with plenty of friendly banter!!
